Mission & Vision

West Virginia Family Foundation exists to identify, to mobilize, and to consolidate the many voices of conservatism in West Virginia to ensure that conservative views impact social and family issues being considered by the governing bodies of this State.

To carry out the spirit of the mission statement and to give focus to the activities of the West Virginia Family Foundation, the following general goals have been established:

Goal 1: Involvement

To encourage a greater level of involvement on the part of average citizens and local leaders in the shaping of public policy on social and family issues.

The activities of the West Virginia Family Foundation will be conducted locally and regionally to encourage involvement by the average citizens of this State.

Goal 2: Education

To inform and to educate persons within West Virginia relative to the conservative position on social and family issues.

Informing and educating will be addressed through public speaking opportunities, through reporting on voting records and candidate surveys, through website information, through a newsletter, and through radio and television advertisements.

Goal 3: Action

Our goal is to identify and mobilize conservative individuals, conservative groups, and church congregations to speak as one unified voice and thereby, positively impact the various social and moral issues of today that adversly effect conservative family values. We will make various governmental departments aware of our conservative views and to encourage them to pass rules, laws and legislation to protect conservative family values.

This action goal will be accomplished through personal visits, e-mail messages and letter writing to city, county and state officials. We will also use all available news media to educate and motivate conservative about programs and officials that would harm conservative family values. To this end, we ask that all conservatives join us in this honorable effort.
